About the Role

Join us as a Senior Admissions and Selection Officer! Be a pivotal part of the Admissions team, managing Admissions and Selection processes for graduate coursework programs. Your expertise will shine in providing high-quality support to course selection committees, ensuring exceptional customer service, and contributing to transitional projects. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Supporting the Admissions and Selection Manager, Manager Future Students, and Associate Director (MDHS) in reviewing and implementing recruitment and admissions plans for the Division, ensuring alignment with KPIs. 
  • Supporting and managing the transition selection process project in collaboration with the Admissions and Selection Manager and Manager Future Students.  
  • Contributing to and supporting university-wide continuous improvement projects, including the University Admissions Framework and other MDHS admission projects

Who we are looking for
We seek individuals committed to exceptional client service, showcasing the ability to work independently with initiative, while also thriving in collaborative team settings. Effective communication is key, demonstrated through your excellent written and verbal skills and ability to foster strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders. With a keen eye for detail, strong administration skills, and organisational prowess, you will excel in managing multiple tasks concurrently.  

You will also have: 

  • A relevant degree and/or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. 
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including supporting team direction, training peers, and process reviews. 
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in databases and the suite of Microsoft applications. 
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with a flexible and innovative mindset for continuous process improvement.
