Your areas of responsibility include:
- Strategic and operational development of programmes: You will coordinate our country programme in Ukraine in close collaboration with local partner organisations and develop new peacebuilding initiatives in conflict regions.
- Concepts for feminist peacebuilding: You will conceptualize principles for peacebuilding during armed conflicts and create opportunities for exchange and learning among partners.
- Programme management and communication: You will implement programmes according to international standards and prepare targeted information for external communication and fundraising.
Your profile:
· You hold a university degree or equivalent qualification and have at least 10 years of professional experience in peacebuilding with your own experience in conflict contexts.
· You are a strategic thinker with a proactive and inclusive approach to work. You are passionate about feminist values and PWAG’s vision and mission.
· You have experience working with local partners and are well connected internationally with peacebuilding organisations.
· You are fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in German and French is a strong asset. Your empathy and intercultural skills enable you to build lasting relationships. You bring teamwork skills and a good sense of humour to your work environment.
We offer a stimulating and meaningful position in a small, motivated team in Bern, flexibility (1-2 days working from home) and a salary range of CHF 92,000-102,000 (100%).
