About the role

  • Full time (part time options considered)
  • Fixed term to June 2027
  • $98,825-$108,743 plus 11.5% superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading
  • Hybrid, remote and work from home options considered within Australia only.

The Senior Advisor, Campaigns plays a key role in leading highly visible, national social marketing campaigns that raise awareness, change behaviour, and engage the community to prevent violence against women and their children.

Working as part of a cross-functional project team and responsible for coordinating the end-to-end delivery of all adult-facing campaign activity, including campaign strategy, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This role is also responsible for project and contract management activities associated with the delivery of campaigns.

The Senior Advisor Campaigns will:

  • Lead the coordination of the end-to-end design, development, implementation, and evaluation of Our Watch’s social marketing campaigns, ensuring campaigns are evidence-based, effective and based on best-practice approaches in support of Our Watch’s strategic plan.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including federal and state government departments, other sector organisations and campaign agencies and suppliers
  • Work collaboratively with internal Our Watch teams to ensure all campaign activity is grounded in research and evidence, is supported by practical tools and resources, and is evaluated through effective tracking and measurement.
  • A working with children check is a mandatory requirement for this role. You will be required to secure this before you commence

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or equivalent experience with at least 5 years’ experience in leading end-to-end social marketing campaigns.
  • Strong command of social marketing principles, campaign research, marketing and communications techniques and an ability to synthesise complex information to develop a clear campaign strategy, supported by evidence and with an appropriate mix of marketing and communications channels and activities.
  • Strong experience leading multiple projects, including setting clearly defined objectives and priorities, plan and manage workload, and utilise systems to track progress
  • Experience working with multiple agencies delivering on multiple campaigns.
  • Proven experience in developing creative campaign content that is innovative yet rooted in strategy and evidence with the ability to challenge conventional practices and proactively look for opportunities to reach new audiences through targeted messaging or new channel entry
