About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Protective Intelligence Analyst specializing in open-source intelligence (OSINT) to join our dynamic office-based team in London. This role is critical for our executive protection operations, focusing on using OSINT methodologies to identify and analyse threats to enhance the security and safety of our high-profile clients. Your expertise in OSINT will directly influence operational strategies and client safety, making your role pivotal within our security framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead OSINT efforts by gathering, assessing, and analysing open-source data to identify potential threats and security risks, especially within the UK and rest of Europe.
- Develop and maintain advanced OSINT frameworks and digital tools to monitor social media, news outlets, and other relevant online platforms for real-time threat identification.
- Produce comprehensive risk assessments and situational reports integrating OSINT findings to provide actionable intelligence for field operations and strategic planning.
- Stay abreast of the latest OSINT techniques and digital tools to continually enhance intelligence gathering and analysis capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate OSINT findings into broader security and risk management strategies.
- Conduct training sessions for the intelligence team on the latest OSINT tools and methodologies, raising the team’s overall analytical capabilities.
- Protect the data and systems of Crisis24 and its stakeholders by adhering to policies, reporting incidents and potential problems, completing regular training, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Security Studies, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 5-7 years of professional experience focusing on OSINT in protective security, law enforcement, or corporate security environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using OSINT tools and social media monitoring platforms to conduct in-depth analysis.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data sets into clear, actionable intelligence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience in delivering intelligence briefs and reports.
- A keen understanding of the digital landscape and how it impacts security and operational planning.
- Familiarity with UK laws and regulations concerning data privacy and surveillance, such as the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Membership in relevant professional bodies, such as the Security Institute, ASIS International UK Chapter, or British Association for Private Security (BAPS).
Preferred Experience:
- Certification in OSINT methodologies and tools.
- Experience in a leadership role, managing OSINT projects or teams.
- Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP).
