join us and help bring energy to life.National Grid is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for our Electricity Transmission department. This is a hybrid role based out of either Warwick or London.Key AccountabilitiesAs a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be involved in the product development process from ideation to launch, working closely with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, UI/UX designers, and key stakeholders across the organization to deliver the best digital experiences for our users. You will actively contribute to the success of the team by innovating, participating in technical discussions, and contributing to the development of products that will transform the organization.
About You
More InformationA competitive salary between £65,000 – £80,000 – dependent on capabilityAs well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus of up to 15% of your salary for stretch performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. You will also have access to a number of flexible benefits such as a share incentive plan, salary sacrifice car and technology schemes, support via employee assistance lines and matched charity giving to name a few.
