The Role:

 

The Senior Bid Manager will work closely with country and regional teams to successfully pursue grant and tender opportunities, serving as the team’s expert resource in bidding best practice, and providing oversight for all complex grant and commercial consortia negotiations.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

  • Experience of managing performance of others and helping people to develop, grow and achieve their potential, including increasing diversity and inclusion in teams and / or workplaces, and creating positive change in work culture, processes and practices.  
  • Lived experience (s) or evidence of learning/taking action on anti-racism and inequalities
  • Proven ability in bid/ proposal leadership across complex and high value grants and /or commercial tenders negotiating complex consortia arrangements.
  • Proven ability to analyse and synthesise complex issues.
  • Experience of developing cost / pricing models for tender and grant opportunities.
  • Ability to adapt and work within a multicultural, multilingual, and multidisciplinary environment.
