Make this year count and join an organisation chasing bold things…

An opportunity exists to join one of South Australia’s leading not-for-profits, driving our Uniting Communities’ brand strategy and digital platforms, showcasing the impactful work happening across our organisation.

We are searching for a Senior Brand and Digital Advisor on a 12 month fixed-term contract to complete our ambitious, change-making Advocacy, Communications and Marketing team.

In this role, you’ll seek out opportunities to elevate and enhance our brands as well as showcase our broad portfolio of services, initiatives and vision in the digital world.

This rare opportunity to use your skills and experience to be part of a values-driven organisation who does things differently.

So, what’s the role?

As our Senior Brand and Digital Advisor, you’ll bring your experience, skills, and enthusiasm for collaboration to advise, develop and lead brand and digital initiatives across Uniting Communities.

This role ensures that we’re always on-brand and online, taking ownership of our external digital platforms and identifying opportunities to improve them.

With a focus on providing exceptional service to our internal and external partners, you’ll be confident offering best-practice guidance and practical branding and digital communications support to help achieve outcomes aligned with our strategic plan.

As our organisation drives innovative solutions to age-old problems, you’ll help to identify and take up marketing opportunities to match. In this role, you’ll be part of creating authentic, values-aligned collateral that matches our bold vision for South Australia.

And who are you?

You’re a natural leader who loves a creative challenge.

This role will suit someone who wants to help tell powerful stories through innovative branding collateral. You’ll be passionate about creating a good-looking grid and accessible websites.

You’ll have experience in developing, maintaining and evolving well-known brands and moving them into exciting new spaces. You’ll know your way around a style guide and be fluent in website lingo.

Working alongside with our incredible Marketing Coordinator and Senior Marketing and Engagement Advisor, you’ll be able to balance workloads, collaborate on, and contribute to, exciting projects.

You’re a relationship builder who wants to work with others to achieve the best outcomes for all.

Ideally, you will have experience working in a not-for-profit environment but hey – if not – don’t let that stop you from pressing send.

We’re committed to flexibility wherever possible and, as a result, we’re pleased to offer this fixed term contract role at either 0.6FTE, 0.8FTE or 1.0FTE, depending on what is happening in your world!

You’ll be someone who wants to use their talents to create change, isn’t afraid to do things differently, and thrives on a deadline.

And what’s in it for you?

Aside from creating real change and working within an incredible team (if we do say so ourselves!), Uniting Communities offers access generous salary packaging benefits, paid maternity leave and our early intervention physio program, to name a few incentives.

You’ll be joining a team that offers flexibility, with hybrid work from home options available.

When you are in the office, you’ll be working from U City, Uniting Communities’ vertical village. Situated in the heart of Adelaide city, U City brings together our whole community through popular cafes, an active retirement community, service delivery, a local dentist, legal practitioners and even a buzzing art space.

U City is South Australia’s first carbon neutral building and we’re continuing to lead the way, as we push to reach Net Zero by 2035. As our new Communications Coordinator, you’ll be part of building (pun intended) a cleaner, greener future at Uniting Communities.
