Business Analyst – London market InsurerLondon (Hybrid)I am currently working with a London market insurer who have an opportunity for a talented Snr Business Analyst. This client are a global insurer and reinsurer with over 100+ years in delivering innovation into the insurance industry, primarily in Property, Casualty and Specialty lines of business. With significant investment incoming, this is a prime time to join an exciting growth journey as they look to expand their European and UK operations.This role will involved in gathering business and functional requirements for a policy administration system, including downstream systems and reporting, and planning and facilitating user acceptance testing. This role requires someone with London market insurance experience and an ability to lead a team of Business Analysts in providing support to the development of business cases, gathering of requirements, design, build and test.Responsibilities:

• Lead gathering and documentation of requirements for both business and functional requirements, business use cases, process flows, traceability matrices and report mock up’s
• Plan, facilitate and conduct requirements gathering sessions, meetings and presentations
• Build strong relationships to gain an understanding of how the business and functional areas operate
• Collaborate to provide subject matter expertise to development and testing teams, ensuring out of the box functionality is leveraged
• Ensure final solution improves efficiency for users and the business
• Partake in UAT execution phase and work with business lead and project managers gaining testing acceptance
• Provide leadership to one or more IT Business Analysts

Skills & experience:

• 7+ years Business analysis experience across 2+ London Market carriers
• Extensive experience working with Policy Administration Systems (PAS), preferably Guidewire PolicyCenter
• Reporting solutions experience is beneficial
• Ability to work with; Agile SCRUM methodology; Business Analysis methodologies; documentation standards
• Hands on experience writing user stories
• Track record of creating clear deliverables reflecting in-depth understanding of the business.
