For our International Programme (IP) department in Zurich, we are looking as soon as possible for an experienced (Senior) Business Project Manager

Join us in accelerating our digital transformation journey by leading a large-scale digital transformation project. In this key role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, executing and overseeing the digitalisation of our programme and project management at head office and in over 30 countries. You will ensure alignment with organisational goals and requirements, drive the digitalisation of business processes and get stakeholders across the organisation on board of this exciting initiative.

You subsidise to the unique opportunity to drive positive change, contribute to the efficiency of our operations and develop innovative digital solutions in support of our development cooperation and humanitarian response engagement.

 

MAIN TASKS

·         Together with the Tech Project Manager (Dual Project Management) and support from the implementation partner, lead and manage the ‘Programme Management Platform project’ from its design, specification of requirements to planning and implementation.

·         Transform and standardise business processes related to project and programme management by leading business process analyses, process engineering and digitalisation, implementation and roll-out.

·         Ensure that the project addresses the unique challenges and opportunities of an international non-profit organisation within the development cooperation and humanitarian response sector.

·         Engage stakeholders, including end-users, collaborators, senior management at head office and in countries, as well as external implementation partners.

·         Address organisational changes associated with digital transformation of project and programme management and ensure a smooth transition to new digital systems.

·         Collaborate with the International Programmes and the Digital Transformation Steering Board to ensure alignment with organisational objectives and planning, and integration with other digital initiatives.

·         Ensure alignment with organisational objectives and regularly report project progress and recommendations to the Project Steering Committee and the Management Board.

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

·         BSc or MSc degree in Management, Business Administration or related field.

·         Project management certification and substantial experience as a (Senior) Project Manager of complex implementation projects, digitalisation projects or organisational transformation initiatives, if possible, in the non-profit or public sector.

·         Experience in business process management, business engineering, operations management or related area

·         Leadership experience in facilitating strategic initiatives, participatory planning and problem-solving and managing change across organisations.

·         Track record in managing cross-functional teams, facilitating organisational processes and collaborating with a range of stakeholders.

·         High degree of self-organisation, structured way of thinking, planning skills and ability to set priorities.

·         Strong analytical capabilities, goal-orientation and persistence with an ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.

·         Dynamic, agile and innovation-oriented personality with a learning mindset.

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proficiency in English. German, French, and/or Spanish are an advantage.

·         Proficiency with common office software. Experience with data management and systems, data analysis, cloud solutions, and digital communication tools.
