Procurement Heads are working with a rapidly growing healthcare client, to support on the appointment of an Senior Buyer (Technology).Join the business during a period of IT transformation, with a healthy pipeline of SaaS related procurements including plans for a new ERP implementation and an upgrade of digital platforms.This is a permanent opportunity, that will be based in the London offices a couple of days per week ,including the need for travel to meet with suppliers on an ad-hoc basis.You will work closely with the Head of Procurement, managing the IT and indirect spend (c.£50m) and all end-to-end procurement activities contributing to the overall life cycle.You will work with all kinds of stakeholders across Fleet, Logistics, HR, Technology and Marketing. There is plenty of work to get your teeth into and an opportunity to take part in an IT transformation. The business is privately listed, and has grown significantly over the last few years. This is a brilliant time to join, with an opportunity to progress and excel in your career.Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Supplier relationship management including tracking KPIs
  • Contract management including tracking contract end renewal dates
  • Operational management of sourcing activities including market engagement, supplier pre-qualification, supplier selection, writing ITTs, supplier evaluation and contract implementation and management.
  • Ongoing analysis of volume value reports
  • Writing ITT documentation and running tenders through the company eProcurement platform
  • Support the project management of complex procurement activities from initial specification stage to contract award.

  • Evidence of end-to-end procurement
  • Previous IT tendering experience
  • Contract management skills
  • Ability to build stakeholder relationships
  • Valid UK Driving License (required)

Expected salary

£55000 – 65000 per year
