Competitive JDRoss are currently supporting one of our clients in the energy space in their search for a Senior completions engineer.Job Functions:
- Document detailed Basis of Designs for all well types (platform, TLP, subsea)
- Develop operational programmes and budgets for completions, workovers and well interventions as required
- Interface with key stakeholder to ensure deliverables are achieved
- Optimise completions/testing/well intervention planning, costing and operations
- Assist in the contracting process for completion equipment and services tenders
- Ensure well material and service providers comply with specified quality assurance requirements
- Monitor contractor operational readiness, equipment manufacturing, acceptance testing, quality assurance and service delivery
- Assist in the management of the service contracts and contractor performance process
- Ensure that all completion activities comply with Trident’s policies standards as well as all governmental and industry regulations / Best Practices.
- Ensure that all work within the area of responsibility is adequately documented and lessons learned are captured for the benefit of future Trident operations worldwide
- Participate in well and operations hazard assessments and HAZOP’s, compiling well risk register and well barrier reviews
- Participate in Barrel Chasing efforts including high-level scoping (feasibility & cost) for potential projects
- Hold and document Peer Reviews and Gate Meetings, as well as After Action Reviews as necessary.
