- 1x ongoing position (full time, part time considered)
- 1x parental leave backfill position – up to 12 months (full time, part time considered)
- Salary based on experience, range will be $98,902 – $123,624 (pro rata) plus super
- Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model
About the role
You will join a passionate and dynamic Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) team who are committed to fostering a work culture that is equitable, inclusive and diverse where everyone feels valued, respected and able to be their authentic selves at work.
As part of this role, you will partner with internal and external stakeholders and be the subject matter expert; offering advice and support on all things DEI.
You will conduct data analysis and maintain appropriate governance frameworks to ensure organisational responsibility for the implementation of DEI; including educating leaders on the importance of adopting an intersectional perspective in the creation of our accessibility programs, services, policies, processes and procedures to achieve our strategic goals.
You will oversee programs of work linked to DEI action plans, driving change throughout the organisation and beyond.
This role is based at our Melbourne, Naarm CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
What you will bring
- An open communication style to effectively engage diverse audiences and convey complex ideas in a simple way.
- Previous experience creating and executing DEI strategies, action plans and programs of work.
- An interest in analysing data to identify underlying drivers of equality.
- Proficiency in project management and organisational abilities, with a proven track record of producing and presenting top-tier reports, papers and presentations in a clear, inclusive and accessible manner.
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience in law, human resources, psychology, humanities or business.
