Position Details
Information Technology and Security at The University of Tampa has a position available for a Senior CRM/ERP Solutions and Security Architect. This role involves interfacing with various enterprise technology and infrastructure systems to optimize (e.g., new feature adoption, refining application configurations, etc.) the university’s CRM and ERP solutions. Additionally, the position will be responsible for developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the security of the university’s CRM and ERP applications. The Senior CRM/ERP Solutions and Security Architect will evaluate opportunities, gather requirements, and work with the University’s functional area(s) to recommend and support business process needs and improvements, focusing on secure practices.
The Senior CRM/ERP Solutions and Security Architect will report directly to the Associate Vice President of Enterprise Solutions and work closely with the Enrollment Management Leadership Team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Ensure secure CRM configurations and integrations, including participation in penetration testing of them
• Work with CRM vendors regarding security, system integration, reporting and business analytics, workflows, and configuration troubleshooting and enhancements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into systems requirements and scoping
• Develop documentation and proof-of-concept designs to solve business challenges using the CRM solution(s) available
• Own, build, and maintain all CRM integrations (i.e., Workday and third-party systems) as an expert in all CRM-leading integration technologies
• Create relevant security groups and roles in the CRM following industry best practices in conjunction with ITS, Information Security, and Enrollment Management
• Build and maintain internal and external facing portals to streamline business processes
• Facilitate knowledge transfer of system integrations, reporting and business analytics, and configuration via collaboration with team members
• Maintain awareness of current trends and new CRM functionality, providing recommendations to appropriate functional teams on how to take advantage of these new functionalities and relevant security principles/best practices
• Create and maintain CRM feature adoption and enhancement roadmap for workload management, planning, and budgeting purposes
• Evaluate comprehensive CRM system gap analysis with recommendations to enhance the overall stature and creation of efficiencies
• Contribute to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures and backgrounds
Requirements
• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
• Working knowledge of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Services, XML, XSLT, and JSON
• Experience working with both real-time (SOAP/REST) and scheduled batch/flat-file data integration environments
• 10+ years of experience in application development, designing architecture, and data integration
• Training in incident response management
• Experience in designing reports and data extractions
• 10+ years of modern integration and reporting experience
• Familiarity with Slate and Workday Student configuration
• Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative organizational practices
• Preferred: Experience using development applications such as Eclipse-based I.D.E., Python, Oxygen, Postman, SOAP UI, and ETL tools
• Higher Education experience
