Your role is to make sure that the Data Quality processes, rules and requirements of data within SSEN Distribution are optimised, adhered to and provided to the business to enable them to fully understand the current level of quality of the data and to react accordingly.Key responsibilities for this role will include:– Delivery of Data Quality support and guidance for SSEN Distribution to standardise best practice and realise group synergies including the deployment of quality tooling (Informatica Data Quality, Power BI and Data Catalogue) and the related operating models and processes.– Delivery of SSEN Distribution data quality standards, and guidelines for Data Quality, ensuring that uniformly recognised and accepted data quality standards and definitions are developed and applied throughout the organisation.– Design and deliver the data quality assurance service for analytics data sources being loaded onto the Analytics Platform and SSEN Distribution Data Portal.– Creation and development of Data Quality Reporting and support documentation that underpins the delivery of the Data Management Service and roadmap to improve SSEN Distribution’s data maturity.– Act in a Business Analyst capacity to support Data Management projects that are initiated to deliver new software or services with responsibility for producing documents such as the business case and benefits realisation plan.What do I need?To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:– Good knowledge of Data Management and Data Quality industry best practice.– Good breadth and depth of knowledge and experience in the delivery of IT services ideally from a similar role in a large organisation.– Knowledge and experience of market leading Data Quality tools such as Informatica, Power BI, Data Bricks, Informatica Data Quality– Good stakeholder management skills, using communication skills and understanding of business goals to influence strategic direction on data.– Ability to work with and collaborate with a high-performing team across remote locations.About our BusinessSSE IT underpins the technology needs of all the different businesses that make up the SSE group.
