Are you an experienced Dev Ops Consultant looking for an opportunity to join an innovative, collaborative team? We have an opportunity for a Senior Dev Ops Consultant with extensive experience in Dynamics 365, Azure Dev Ops, and a sound knowledge of Software delivery and deployment to join Capita on a permanent basis.The successful candidate will be joining in-flight projects with a large existing team and will be working on Microsoft Dynamics 365, assisting developers and providing deployments to developers of software releases.The successful candidate must be eligible for SC clearance.Job title: Senior Dev Ops ConsultantJob Description:What you’ll be doing:Design and implement build and deployment configuration definitionsUtilise robust build and deployment processes to deliver reliable managed environments of known baselinesBuild and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning for both on premise and cloud-based environmentsConsult with peers for feedback during testing stagesManage CI and CD toolsWork with contemporary development practices (e.g. Scrum, BDD) and tools (e.g. Jenkins, GIT)Meeting with stakeholders and clients to determine requirementsKnowledge of Software delivery, software deployment and ability to create Azure CD CI pipelines for continuous improvementWhat we’re looking forAzure – Administration and development within Azure including Dev Ops and Git HubExperience in Design and implementing build and release pipelinesProficiency in Git Hub, Jenkins, Dev OpsAble to develop local security and compliance plans with knowledge of best practice, vulnerabilities management and compliance frameworksWell-versed in programming languages such as; Python, Perl, Ruby, PowerShell (advantageous)Azure or Dev Ops Certification (advantageous)About Capita TSSCapita Technology and Software Solutions (TSS) is a 5000 people strong global shared service, responsible for delivering innovation and digital transformation for Capita’s colleagues, businesses and clients.We design, build and run the right technical competencies and partnerships to enable Capita to deliver seamless public and customer services – from working collaboratively with Capita’s businesses to shape the right technology and software solutions to take to market, to ensuring colleagues have access to resilient, predictable IT services and support, that enables them to work effectively and securely.TSS is right at the heart of Capita, as we work to create a technology-led organisation.
