Hours: 22.5 hours per week

Salary: £28,000 – £31,000 Full Time Equivalent (dependent on experience)

Do you have experience of working in a charity fundraising and development role? This is an exciting and fulfilling position in a vibrant and growing organisation.  We are looking for a Senior Development Officer who is a self-starter and full of initiative.

Tyndale House is a renowned institute for biblical studies and possesses one of the finest libraries for biblical research in the world. It aims to grow an international research community, to present the value of the Bible at the highest academic level, to resource the Church to understand and trust the Bible, and to promote informed attitudes to the Bible.

The postholder will work within our small development team in a wide-ranging role, which will involve designing and implementing fundraising campaigns for small – medium donors, co-ordinating trust and foundation applications as well as assisting with the management of systems and relationships that support income generation across all strands of fundraising activity.

Additionally, the postholder will build relationships with donors and supporters, implementing a portfolio of development events and will play an instrumental role in raising funds for our largest ever capital campaign.

The ideal candidate will be proactive and have great attention to detail; they should be enthusiastic and responsive with excellent interpersonal skills, enabling them to work closely with colleagues in different teams.

There is an Occupational Requirement for the post-holder to be an active, practising, evangelical Christian in agreement with the doctrinal basis of Tyndale House and living in accord with our Ethos Statement.
