Deakin University seeks a Senior Digital Marketing Officer – Content. Drive digital engagement with compelling content. Lead strategy for impactful marketing

As a Senior Digital Marketing Officer – Content youwill: 

• Work with and regularly consult key stakeholder of the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment (SEBE) to collaboratively build the faculty’s vision  

• Lead the development of faculty story telling through written content articles and managing the faculty’s social media presence  

• Oversee development and optimization of key messaging for digital media campaigns 

• Oversee development of course promotional content including course guide publications and course overviews 

To be successful, you’ll have:  

A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or 

• Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or  

• An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training 

• Knowledge of the digital marketing landscape and content requirements for each media channel 

• Experience in adapting complex information and ideas for a variety of audiences and channels 

• Experience writing content that aligns with brand, style and tone of voice requirements 

• Extensive experience copywriting and editing content across print, digital and social marketing channels.  

• Experience across various social media platforms, including content management, analysis and performance optimisation
