LifeNet International is transforming healthcare across Africa, operating in Burundi, DRC, Uganda, Malawi, Kenya, and Ghana. With a network spanning over 400 church-owned health facilities, LifeNet International leverages existing health investments to significantly enhance facility performance, improve patient outcomes, and save lives. Our dedicated and growing team provides tailored medical and management training and mentoring to globally recognized standards (WHO and national governments). LifeNet International works to improve the performance of private, faith-based, non-profit health facilities because they comprise between 30%-40% of all curative health services on the continent. Every year our network saves thousands of lives by implementing evidenced-based, cost-effective interventions. Our impact has been externally validated through a comprehensive study conducted by Duke University.

Reporting directly to the President of LifeNet International, this role offers a unique opportunity to drive innovation and make a tangible difference in healthcare delivery across the continent.

Responsibilities

• Unleash the power of technology to enhance patient care and operational efficiency across LifeNet International’s health network in Africa.
• Champion the implementation of cutting-edge solutions, including two-way video medical care and a standardized, cloud-based health management information system (HMIS).
• Lead initiatives to expand high-speed internet access to every health facility in the LifeNet International network, ensuring connectivity reaches even the most remote areas.
• Forge strategic partnerships and leverage digital tools to streamline processes, improve data management, and drive continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.

Qualifications

• Are you a tech-savvy leader with a passion for driving positive change? We’re looking for candidates with extensive experience in the technology and digital arena, particularly in health settings in Africa.
• Do you thrive in complex environments and excel at navigating challenges? Demonstrate your senior-level systems experience, especially in the creation and management of Enterprise Resource Planning systems, with a focus on HMIS.
• Are you a visionary thinker with a track record of driving impactful initiatives? Show us your experience in developing digital solutions that have created program impact.
• Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and make things happen? We’re seeking candidates with the willingness and ability to travel internationally.
