This position is a member of the regional program team and will work with the team to become more aligned in the day to day operations. This role will oversee the Villages of Indiana Prevent Child Abuse program as well as our Education initiatives including The Villages of Indiana Healthy Families sites and Children’s Village of Indianapolis. The Senior Director of Prevention and Education will help to implement best proactive policies and procedures for the agency.
The Senior Director of Prevention and Education will:

Develop, implement, and support The Villages of Indiana’s early childhood prevention, and other educational services

Develop financial targets and administer financial oversight for early childhood prevention, and other educational programs

Provide consistent best practice program development and direction to support the organization’s programs and stakeholders

Monitor risk management for staff and programs and provide feedback for needed changes to the Vice President of Programs and Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) team

Supervise and develop competencies of staff to continuously improve agency capabilities and performance, including regular contact with program directors to support implementation of best practices and risk management protocols

Ensure adherence to all accreditation, contract, service, licensing, and other credentialing standards for programming
Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.

If Bachelor of Social Work then licensure is required

Three years of experience in early childhood prevention and/or early childhood education programming, administration, and staff supervision

Experience in licensing and credentialing of early childhood programs
Preferred Education:

Master’s degree in human services or related field
