The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to join our experienced and friendly Derbyshire team, and one of
the most successful and well-established independent ecological consultancies in the UK.

Our Derbyshire office, located in Hathersage, looks out over the beautiful Peak District
National Park, and is within easy commuting distance of Sheffield.

You will take responsibility for complex, high-profile and ecologically interesting projects.
We will work with you to develop your skills in all aspects of ecology and consultancy work
through mentoring, a structured review process and tailored training programme.

We are particularly looking for candidates with a specialist interest in bats, who hold a level
1 or 2 bat survey licence, are keen to be involved in bat mitigation and licensing projects and
are seeking to develop these skills.

In addition to a competitive salary and 25 days annual leave, we offer benefits that include
flexible working, private healthcare, company-funded social events and health and well-being
benefits.

We are a 100% employee-owned company. We have taken the positive step to
employee-ownership to help us to ensure that the company remains independent for the long-term
and that the interests and values of the business are maintained for the benefit of current and
future employees.
