Senior Engineer, Technical Standards – Consultancy Services (Part-Time, Job-Share and Full-Time)

Salary: Between £57000 and £61000, depending on experience
Location: UK Home-Based (with UK wide travel and attendance at Steel Park Technical Centre near Wolverhampton as agreed)

The opportunity:
Zurich Engineering are a market leading Inspection, testing and certification body in the UK and an approved body for activities in accordance with UKCA requirements under the Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations (PESR).
We have an exciting new vacancy for an experienced but ambitious mechanical engineer. Ideally, we are looking for someone with a background in the design and fabrication of pressure vessels, pipework or similar, with the ability to work to quality and design standards. A good knowledge of PESR Designated Standards, PED5500, ASME etc. would be a distinct advantage.

What will you be doing?
Reporting directly to the Principal Engineer (pressure systems) and working in a small team of 5 other Senior Engineers in the pressure discipline and a wider team of 15 “other discipline” Senior Engineers duties will include;
