About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team! Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Architecture and Information in the Information Technology department, you will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining the enterprise architecture that drives our strategic direction.

As a Senior Enterprise Architect, your responsibility will be to help design and manage the overall architecture of our organisation. This includes overseeing our business processes, data architecture, application architecture, and technology infrastructure. By collaborating closely with business leaders and technology experts, you will develop and implement an enterprise-wide architecture that aligns seamlessly with our strategic goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture to support the operation of our university
• Drive the adoption of this architecture throughout IT and associated projects
• Design and manage the overall architecture of the organization, including business processes, data architecture, application architecture, and technology infrastructure
• Collaborate with business leaders and technology experts to align architecture with strategic goals and objective

About You 
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

• Experience in developing architecture policies, standards and capabilities.
• Experience in creating enterprise roadmaps and building architecture capabilities
• Experience in shaping and leading the end-to-end development of a solution architecture and controlling the conformance of its implementation by system integrators.
• Understanding of a formal architecture framework as well as documenting architectures using a set meta-model, such as the one defined by the TOGAF 9 content framework, together with experience in defining structured problem solving frameworks.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of enterprise architecture, data architecture, application architecture, business analysis, data analysis and logical systems design.

Qualifications

• A graduate degree level qualification in a relevant discipline with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Relevant IT Architecture qualification, e.g. TOGAF
