SAERI (Falklands) Limited (SFL) is looking to employ a full time Senior Environmental Consultant.
We are looking for an experienced environmental consultant with a varied background and
knowledge in the area, with a proven track record of timely delivery.
The aim of this role is to ensure growth of the consultancy locally, regionally and
internationally over and above current projections.
The Senior Environmental Consultant will join a small team based in the Falkland Islands,
primarily delivering Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) from the small scale to large
complex projects for governments, industry and fisheries.
Responsibilities include baseline survey, baseline description, Construction Environmental
Management Plans (CEMPs) amongst others. The post holder will be responsible for client
relationships, writing proposals, delivering projects and writing reports with the project
team.
Essential Criteria include:
- A Masters degree in a relevant subject
- 5-7 years in environmental consultancy
- Experience with baseline surveys & baseline description
- Environmental impact assessment
- Good data management and analytical skills
- Stakeholder engagement
SFL is a 100% owned subsidiary of the South Atlantic Environmental Research Institute (SAERI),
created to support the needs of SAERI by providing the charity with a source of unrestricted
funding and is a Falkland Islands-registered Limited Company.
Its clients include local and international governments, industries, and others through
carrying out EIAs, Environmental Baseline Surveys, Environment Baseline Description, Risk
Assessments, applied fisheries science; fisheries management advice and stock assessments.
