The Central Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board has an opening for a Senior Environmental Scientist (Supervisory). The position location is 895 Aerovista Place, Suite 101, San Luis Obispo, California 93401 near beaches, hiking, mountain biking, local farm stands, and wine country. The Cannabis Regulatory Program is an essential part of the Water Boards mission to preserve, enhance, and restore the quality of California’s water resources.

Duties:

The Senior Environmental Scientist (supervisory) is responsible for all supervisory duties of staff in the Cannabis Program and Enforcement Program at the Central Coast Water Board and for coordinating with upper management and other program managers in the organization.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.

Pay: $10,538.00 – $13,100.00 per month
