Senior Estimator – Manchester – Construction

Our client are an established Main Contractor who are looking for Senior Estimator to join their regional office in Manchester. They work on a variety of projects including new build, refurbishment and facades.

The ideal individual will have experience of working within the industrial, commercial, residential, and retail sectors.

Roles, responsibilities and qualifications:

· Review of tender documentation

· Working with supply chain to provide accurate tenders

– Experience of Estimating Software packages

· Review of supply chain tender returns

· Preparation of budget costings

· Providing sales and estimating documentation

· Working directly with the clients

· Internal QA handover packs, subsequent to contract awards

· Attendance of internal pre-start meetings, subsequent to contract awards

– Managing other Estimators

· Educated to degree qualification in quantity surveying

· Conversant in software packages such as Microsoft excel, word, outlook and notable construction estimating software packages

· Main contracting experience

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

– Driving licence
