This position is located in Bangui within the Financial Resources and Performance Section (FRPS) of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in The Central African Republic (MINUSCA). The Senior Finance and Budget Assistant undertakes a wide range of duties including, but not limited to, providing support in preparing the Mission”s annual budget in compliance with established financial regulations, rules, and procedures; responding to questions raised by regulatory bodies; monitoring of budget utilization and engaging with Mission organizational units on a regular basis to ensure prudent utilization of resources; preparing annual budget- related reports, including budget performance reports and the related result-based budgeting information; engaging with regulatory bodies and the Board of Auditors to provide information on budget utilization whenever required.
