The Organisation
Eating Disorders Queensland (EDQ) is a small and growing not-for-profit organisation based at South Brisbane. EDQ is funded primarily by Queensland Health and provides the largest community support and treatment services for individuals living with and recovering from eating disorders, as well as their families, carers, and key support people.
The opportunity
This position is a key role in the business and operates within a supportive and collaborative team. Your main responsibilities will be payroll processing, accounts payable and accounts receivable processing along with budgeting, reporting, and provision of financial analysis and advice.
This role is available for 22.5 hours per week (part-time basis). Hours can be negotiated on a fortnightly basis or to fit other requirements (eg school hours) within the constraints of organisational needs.
The successful candidate will have:
- Knowledge, expertise and skills in payroll processing, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with relevant financial and payroll systems.
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and with accountability.
Skills and experience in the use of systems and software such as Xero, Cliniko, DEXT, Employment Hero, and Fathom are advantageous but not essential.
Experience working in a community based/human services organisation will be highly valued.
Benefits
- Salary based on Level 5 in the SCHCADS Award. Pro rata for part-time role will be negotiable in range $55,574 to $58,092 plus leave loading, super and concessional salary packaging benefits
