You have:

  • A University degree in Commerce or Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Working towards a CPA accounting designation is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in French and English (reading, writing and speaking)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a financial analyst within a computerized accounting environment using large scale financial systems, working with accounting processes and providing financial analysis and recommendations.
  • An understanding of data control principles.
  • An enhanced knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Preparing accurate financial statements, notes disclosures, and internal and external reporting.
  • Preparing journal vouchers, supporting documentation, and complex analyses
  • Planning short and long-term cash flow and reviewing investments.
  • Liaising with financial institutions to investigate payment issues.
  • Supporting the credit card program.
  • Supporting business process enhancements.
  • Joining an organization that values and models diversity, inclusion, and equity.
