YOU HAVE:

  • A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Finance, or a College Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field combined with an acceptable level of experience could be considered. An accounting designation (CPA) will be an asset.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting , and/or project management in a computerized accounting environment.
  • Proficiency in French and English (reading, writing and speaking).
  • An in depth understanding of the administration of all financial reporting aspects of donor contribution agreements with foreign currency fluctuations management.
  • An enhanced knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and experience in the administration of donor contribution receivables and revenues, and knowledge of mid scale financial systems and ERP’s (MS Dynamics suite of applications).

YOU ARE INTERESTED IN:

  • Administering all financial reporting aspects of donor contribution agreements (whether project specific or program wide) as per the requirements of the agreements, and follow-up on payments to be received;.
  • Preparing invoices based on cash flow projections for donor funded projects and programs;
  • Recording all donor contribution receivables and revenues in a timely manner for the monthly corporate financial statements to be produced.
  • Preparing quarterly expenses forecasts for the externally funded programs, and establishes in collaboration with the program manager, the annual operational budget of donor-funded programs.
  • Providing project management support to program and project staff on financial matters related to donor contribution agreements, including ad-hoc reports and audits support.
  • Supporting the Manager in the review and development of policies and procedures affecting the administration of External funds.
