Circa £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits PackageThis is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused and ambitious Qualified or Finalist (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) to join this leading global business as part of a high performing and sizeable Commercial Finance Team that offers substantial career progression opportunities.The role would suit an inquisitive, analytical, proactive and commercially focused individual who wants to shape and develop a role that will act as a key Finance Business Partner to a fast-paced Marketing function with a substantial budget approaching £200M.
The role has great scope and variety and as such you will have exposure to a broad spectrum of exciting commercial projects working alongside and supporting key senior stakeholders to maxmise return on investment and ultimate shape marketing strategy,
This will include accurate budgeting, forecasting, reporting and business partnering to the Senior Directors and the creation / ownership of reporting dashboards, commercial KPI’s and scorecards to drive financial performance.Business partnering across multiple workstreams and projects you will provide finance support to new initiatives, taking advantage of growth and cost-saving opportunities to maximise returns and company profit.In Detail:

• Provide financial modelling & reporting to support commercial decision making.
• Develop and own the Marketing Scorecard ensuring metrics and KPI’s are in line with overall strategic objectives and financial targets.
• Ownership of month end performance updates, including detailed analysis and commentary to communicate performance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Own all month end, budget and reforecast processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Develop reporting packs to track actual spend vs budget/forecast, spend to go, risks and opportunities etc.
• Provide financial support and guidance to initiatives for queries of an ad-hoc nature.

• Clear financial control applied – financial assumptions are captured and understood.
• Present at bi-weekly meetings as a trusted Finance Business Partner.
• Validate people costs reporting working closely with FP&A and Cost team.
• Lead on process improvement – new ways to simplify and speed up current processes.
• Act as a mentor to junior members of the team and support their development.

What we are looking for:

• You will be qualified for finalist ACCA, CIMA, ACA, currently working within a commercial finance role – Financial Analyst, Finance Business Partner, FP&A Analyst, Commercial Finance Analyst or similar.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• Previous experience of supporting non-finance stakeholders.
• You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to work independently, create your own priorities and proactively drive the agenda.
