Job Role: Senior Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Doncaster
Opportunity: Permanent
Salary: Up to £60,000 D.O.EI currently have an opportunity for an ambitious chartered or working towards chartered geotechnical engineer to join a fast growing & busy foundations business. Due to continued growth and being a preferred contact to a number of national builders there’s no better time to join the company.
You must be confident in signing off works as you play a crucial role in pre & post tendering of work. There is currently no option for hybrid working but with modern offices and a close-knit team it’s a collaborative and enjoyable workplace.Key responsibilities for this Senior Geotechnical role:
– Work with estimation & tendering team to draw up precontract designs
– Sign-off and complete design work on completed tenders
– Working designs for Earthworks, Groundworks, Piling and Foundations.
– Collaborate with the wider team on projects.
– Occasional travel to site meetings and client visits.
– Monitor costs related to the ongoing project.
– Preparation of technical reports and presenting to senior management.
– Provide market and technical knowledge during the planning stage.Key requirements for this Senior Geotechnical role:
– Must have a BEng in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering
– Chartered Membership of ICE or working towards.
– Good working knowledge of Geotechnical Standards and applicability to the construction and residential sectors.Package on offer for this Senior Geotechnical Role:
– Salary up to £60,000
– 2Week Christmas Shutdown.
– Car Allowance.
