ROLE of the POSITION
The Senior Grant Specialist is responsible for supporting the activities of the Principal Investigator (PI) for the conduct of grants including writing and editing components of grant proposals, budget preparation and management, grant expenditures, grant reporting, implementation of goals and objectives of grants, day-to-day oversight of grant activities, programs, subject recruitment, outreach, program trainings, strategic plans and sustainability, compliance with university, local, state, and federal rules regarding conduct of research and other major duties as specified below. In addition, the Sr. Grant Specialist also supervises other grant and/or research related personnel. The senior grant specialist may, in certain circumstances, fulfill the role of the Principal Investigator (PI) on a particular grant.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and 1-3 years of experience. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.

SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. This position is contingent upon funding.
