About the Role:
As a Senior HR and Talent Associate, Office at myAgro, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing consistent client support throughout the employee journey for all office employees. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to the business, collaborating on projects and providing guidance on HR-related matters while ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company policies. This role is based in our Thiès, Senegal office and will report to the HR Manager.
You Will:
- Own the end-end-to-end recruitment process of all office team members at various levels, ensuring alignment with company requirements.
- Help complete employment contracts and ensure adherence to legal requirements.
- Coordinate employee on-boarding, assisting managers in implementing onboarding plans for new employees, and handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
- Provide support to office team members on different HR-related matters, such as benefits, payroll, and procedures, and resolve any issues.
- Ensure teams adhere to performance management procedures and maintain quality standards.
- Listen to team members and address their concerns and monitor team engagement.
- Support training and learning initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures, and provide guidance and interpretation for business operations.
- Participate in the development of HR KPIs, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws; update policies and procedures when necessary.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years experience as an HR representative or equivalent generalist capacity.
- Strong HR acumen, drive and understanding of employee lifecycle and HR protocols.
- Knowledge of employment laws and common practices; experience with Senegalese Labor Law and Employee Code.
- Experience collaborating within teams to achieve common goals.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems (PaySpace or Bamboo a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality HR services.
- English and French proficiency; Preferred: Wolof proficiency.
