Job Description

Under general supervision of Head IS Operations, the Senior ICT Systems Operations Assistant will support the daily operations of the OPCW ICT Systems Security Critical Network and Security Non Critical Network, Inspector Mission Laptops, Microsoft 365 Services, Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and will be responsible for ensuring the availability and correct functioning of all mentioned above.

Main Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Head of IS Business Applications, the successful candidate will:

Maintains and support of the OPCW Security Critical Network;
Maintain of Inspection Mission Laptops;
Maintain and support Security Non-Critical Network;
Administer Microsoft 365 Services, Microsoft Azure Cloud Services;
Provide other technical support.

Qualifications and Experience:
Education Essential:

High School diploma or equivalent diploma of higher secondary education.

Desirable:

Relevant Microsoft Administrator certifications, VMWare Certifications, Certifications in Prince2, Certifications in ITIL.

Knowledge and Experience:
Essential:

At least six years of related experience in the ICT field with an emphasis on ICT Infrastructure; Experience in administering Microsoft365 services.

Desirable:

Experience in administering VMWare VSphere and Horizon virtualization platforms; Experience working with highly confidential information systems.
Skills and Competencies
Ability to quickly learn technologies in order to deliver results;
Ability to analyse problems and react quickly in problematic situations with minimum supervision;
Excellent planning skills;
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Languages:

Fluency in English is essential and a good working knowledge of one of the other official languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish) is desirable.
