The Senior IT Functional Expert provides strategic business analysis services to business partners.
The Senior IT Functional Expert is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
Responsabilities
As Senior IT Functional Expert, the main responsibilities are:
Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to build trust with the business, while still being challenging toward their requirements and proposed solutions
Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements by providing them with specifications., He establishes the test plan and validates the requested developments
Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive) to improve daily life & business and IT productivity Assess business process and system inefficiencies
Identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction
Create and maintain project schedules by developing project plans and specifications
Collaborate to the estimation of workload with team.
Lead or participate in transversal and global projects/programs
Manage transformation projects and support business initiatives
Ownership: Take full responsibility for assignments, activities, decisions and results
Expertise Field: Risk Management
Manage, in your capacity as Business Analyst or functional analyst, various areas of management (funds, mandates, …) and different asset types (equities, bonds, derivatives,…)
Act as interface between the business and technical teams, converting their demands into detailed specs for the IT department
Proactively propose tailor-made solutions, taking into account the client environment and its ability to comply with the various regulations
Implement and coordinate operational tests
Draft user guides and functional documentation, organising the requisite training therefor
Report to the IT Manager Leader – Performance and Risk IT
Handle business requests for updates and support
Profile
You have a Master Degree in Computer Engineering/Economics/Business Administration
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business/functional analysis
A least 5 years’ experience in Asset Management
Strong Analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
Capacity to build trust and confidence with the business and the team members
Very good communication and writing skills
