Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position of Senior IT Officer (AI Software Engineer) is assigned to the Digital for Development Operations Division (ITOP) within the Information Technology Department. You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.
You will report to the designated International Staff.
As a Senior IT Officer (AI Software Engineer), you will play a critical part in ensuring the secure and efficient development, deployment, and operation of our AI models and pipelines. You will work closely with developers, researchers, and security professionals to implement DevSecOps best practices throughout the AI lifecycle.
You will:
Development:
  • Collaborate with developers to review code for security vulnerabilities and implement secure coding practices.
  • Automate builds, deployments, and testing using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Integrate security tools and processes into the development workflow.
  • Configure infrastructure for AI workloads, including containerization and orchestration.
Security:
  • Conduct security assessments of AI models and pipelines.
  • Implement security controls and monitoring to mitigate risks.
  • Respond to security incidents and manage vulnerabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and best practices for AI.
Operations:
  • Monitor and maintain AI infrastructure and platforms.
  • Optimize performance and resource utilization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
  • Automate operational tasks.
Collaboration:
  • Work effectively with developers, researchers, and security professionals.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of AI development and operations processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years work experience and 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps or a related role.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS).
  • Experience with security tools and practices for AI (e.g., adversarial attacks, bias detection).
  • Experience with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with security frameworks for AI (e.g., OpenAI API, Responsible AI Tools, AWS Bedrock)
  • Experience with data security and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for AI and its potential to impact the world..
  • Extensive knowledge of IT organizational practices.
  • Ability to build, maintain and extend relationships across the organization.
  • Ability to manage and direct activities of others in a multi-project environment.
  • Ability to perform business and process analysis.
