Responsible for conceptualizing, designing, developing and executing the media and outreach strategy across all relevant channels to promote and enhance IRTI image, products and services that will enable IRTI achieve its market outreach, superior customer engagement and revenue objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
Media & Outreach Planning and Execution:
- Design, develop and execute the delivery of media and outreach strategy, to raise awareness about IRTI in target markets and engage key stakeholders.
- Create consistently high-quality content for IRTI’s internal and external communications, including preparing and revising news stories, success stories, speeches and other documents.
- Develop IRTI’s media relationships with influential global, regional, and national media.
- Provide reactive support, such as managing enquiries, and facilitate press conferences and media interviews as required.
- Advise and assist IRTI Management and staff in the areas of media handling, outreach, and communications.
- Ensure quality content development and management for IRTI’s website, social media channels, and client relations management platform.
- Conceptualize, plan, design and execute IRTI’s social media applications to promote the products and services of IRTI.
- Lead the provision of expert level technical inputs to help grow IRTI’s social media channels to increase their engagements and reach in target markets.
- Collaborate with the relevant IsDB Group departments to leverage on each other’s strengths in the field of digital media.
- Lead the development and effective implementation of monitoring and measurement metrices for the IRTI’s media’s performance and in reporting the results to the Management.
Knowledge Sharing & Innovation:
- Keep abreast with the latest trends and best practices in the global, regional, and national media and share the same with colleagues in IRTI to adopt new ideas.
- Coach, mentor and develop junior staff in the Institute.
- Attend seminars and conferences to represent and showcase the products and services of IRTI.
Reporting & Communications:
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to keep the IRTI Management updated on all aspects of social media engagements.
- Suggest improvements in the web content or any relevant issues based on the feedback received.
- Communicate with web/media visitors, other stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues, if any.
Academic and professional qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Journalism or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the field of media and communication, particularly in digital media and communications.
- Proven experience of designing and delivering successful creative media campaigns with measurable success.
Skills & Necessary Knowledge:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience of developing and running platform-specific content across digital media channels
- Results-driven with a strong track record in measuring and evaluating digital and other media campaigns.
- Exceptional understanding of the media landscape and the latest trends.
- Excellent understanding of media best practices.
- Self-starter, able to work without much supervision.
- Advanced MS Office.
- Advanced digital media skills.
Languages:
- English – Mandatory
- Arabic – Preferred
- French – Preferred
