About the Role
As the Senior Learning Designer (ePortfolio), you will spearhead the design and development of novel and rejuvenated subjects within the Teaching and Learning Innovation (TLI) framework and strategic initiatives. Your role will involve the adept management of multiple educational technologies, the cultivation of positive team dynamics, and a steadfast commitment to upholding uncompromising standards of quality. 

You will promote innovative pedagogy and assessment at the program and subject levels, particularly around ePortfolio pedagogies. Simultaneously, you will manage stakeholder relationships, fostering trust and transparent communication with faculties, vendors, and teaching leaders, whilst creating an environment committed to advancing educational paradigms. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading faculty engagement and collaboration on ePortfolios, aligning with stakeholders, supervising projects, and driving continuous improvement for enhanced educational quality.
  • Leading the development, delivery, and maintenance of learning design principles and technology-enhanced learning (TEL) frameworks, applying them appropriately to all subject/course design initiatives and other projects as needed.
  • Leading and providing consulting services to teaching staff and support personnel for strategically and pedagogically driven development of evidence-based practice assessments and activities, especially in the context of ePortfolios.

Utilise your practical experience in designing and supporting digital assessments using ePortfolios at both program and subject levels.

You will also have:

  • Equivalent combination of degree and experience or extensive specialist expertise.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in crafting and implementing impactful educational learning design frameworks and methodologies for outstanding learning, teaching, and assessment experiences.
  • Extensive experience in crafting and delivering both online and face-to-face professional development, facilitating learning activities, and promoting the effective use of digital technologies, digital assessments, ePortfolios, and learning design applications.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating with diverse senior internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes on a large scale.
