Over the last five years ULMS has engaged in extensive recruitment of academic and professional services staff, expanding into a state-of-the-art extension adjacent to the Georgian quarter of Liverpool, including a trading room and a marketing suite. The School now has over 220 academic staff supported by 85 professional services colleagues. The Accounting and Finance Group is now seeking to appoint two new colleagues in Finance at the level of Senior Lecturer (the equivalent to Associate Professor). We particularly welcome applications from candidates specializing in the areas of Empirical Asset Pricing and Corporate Finance.

You will possess a relevant PhD and will have an existing track record of top-level publications in Finance over a number of years. You will be able to evidence future research plans demonstrating a capacity to sustain and extend the existing high level of output.

You will also be expected to demonstrate a successful teaching track record in Finance as they will teach on undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes. The School seeks excellence in all aspects of student experience and looks for individuals with a passion for innovative pedagogies and the capacity to create and deliver new and highly contemporary modules.

It is possible to offer a salary supplement. Any such supplement will be awarded on the basis of a demonstrable record of exceptional achievement and is entirely at the discretion of the University.
