With a strong market reputation and a commitment to delivering outstanding quality; they are seeking a senior commercial Lawyer to join their legal team.About the opportunity:Reporting to the Head of Legal. This is a broad legal and commercial role reflecting the innovative multi-disciplinary approach of the business. The role will provide legal advice and support to the business on commercial and operational matters in EMEA.The role will require the candidate to manage a broad spectrum of commercial legal work. The successful candidate will be Responsible for structuring, negotiating and drafting various significant strategic and operations commercial contracts including supply, distribution, purchase and outsourcing agreements. Additionally, you will be responsible for the Supporting the Sales and Marketing teams, including advising in relation to EMEA promotions, campaigns and advertising, ensuring compliance with EU law (including competition laws), local laws and governance. Instruct and manage external counsel, where required, to ensure local law compliance and effectively manage litigation.The candidate must bring a proactive, business and solution-oriented mindset to legal matters and a proven ability to work collaboratively across the organisation and legal team.About you:The successful candidate will have at least 4 PQE, having trained in a top UK law firm. Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals or health care industry is desirable. Experience of marketing and advertising will be an advantage. As would experience of operating in an international environment development would be. Familiarity with key standard form of commercial contracts is desirable. Ideally you would have experience of working in a fast-paced in-house environment.
