Senior Counsel – Global Finance Platform – 24 month interim contract A really interesting role has arisen for a Senior Legal Counsel to join a very high-calibre team of 5 on a maternity cover basis. This role is ideal for an experienced commercial lawyer with a background in TMT or IT law, who is able to work independently, has strong attention to detail, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Role: Reporting to the Head of Legal you will – Draft and review complex SaaS product contracts with large, global financial clients; – Lead client contract and key supplier negotiations; – Assist with regulatory developments relevant to the company; – Support the development of new products and services; – IP and data protection; – Manage external legal counsel to ensure high-quality, cost-effective legal advice. This role requires an experienced commercial lawyer (c.10 PQE) with extensive experience of working in fintech or IT environments. This is an exciting global business in a period of high growth and the complexity and interest of the work there is really high.
