Leading global trading platform seeking a senior employment lawyer to join their global in-house legal team in London.This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a successful, growing business within a supportive, dynamic team, with an interesting and broad spread of contentious and non-contentious employment work on offer.They are looking for an adept and experienced employment lawyer to provide legal support on all people-related matters across EMEA; including contractual agreements, recruitment, performance management, corporate transactions, disputes, grievances, disciplinary matters, compensation, benefits, restrictive covenants, terminations and partnering with the People Operations team to develop and improve policies and procedures. There is opportunity for travel.You will have proven and extensive employment experience and knowledge of relevant regulations in various countries in the EMEA region, preferably from a top tier City law firm. In addition, the role provides an opportunity to broaden your practice into other areas to advise across a range of commercial contracts such as IT, software, leases, trading and vendor agreements. Prior experience is not a pre-requisite, rather the willingness to branch out into areas beyond solely employment.Attitude is important in this lean and collaborative team, so the ideal candidate will be versatile, efficient, proactive with strong drafting skills and an excellent communicator with strong academics and preferably experience of the financial sector.
