Senior Legal Counsel- Commercial & Outsourcing

Our client is a highly acquisitive Financial Services organisation with a base in Bristol.

Having more than quadrupled in size over the last few years the organisation are gearing for the next phase in their evolution.

This newly created position will report to the Head of Legal.

We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel who will be the subject matter expert for major outsourcing projects across the group.

The role will have a breadth of commercial and corporate responsibility, with this role ‘owning’ all matters relating to Outsourcing.

The outsourcing work pertains to recent high level acquisitions and the need to outsource the centre of operations and building a new platforms.

These are major outsourcing projects which will require a depth of knowledge and outsourcing experience.

This is a highly visible role sitting at the very centre of the organisations strategic plan.

Outside of the Outsourcing arena and its cyclical nature you will have the opportunity to develop you legal skills equipping you with the tools required for a future GC role.

This work will include the full range of commercial and corporate if this is something you wanted to develop.

The team contains subject matter experts but crossover is encouraged in a growth mentality environment.

UK Qualified Solictor.

We are flexible on pqe.

High level experience in Outsourcing essential

Ability to work in Bristol for 2 days a week.

Experience with FCA/Regulatory/Commercial a strong advantage.

Team player with a proactive and can do attitude.

Private Practice or In House background.
