- Take our growth strategy to the next level for Op Shops & social enterprises
- $129K – $140K base + $9K car allowance + super + access to salary packaging
- FT or PT (0.9FTE) considered + hybrid WFH options + regular travel to sites
Your new role
You will lead strategy, performance, and budget management of our Op Shops and Social Enterprises. You will drive business development and growth by opening new op shop stores, cultivating new revenue-generating partnerships and strengthening our existing ones.
You’ll be backed by organisational commitment and work closely with stakeholders to align strategy with objectives, drive operational growth, and maximise impact for corporate partners, communities, and clients.
You will be supported by a well-established and high-performing leadership team and together you will build a sustainable revenue pipeline, deliver innovative, customer-focused services, and expand our service offerings.
We currently have 120 employees and 460 volunteers across 24 Op shops and counting, as well as two disability social enterprises, Tadpac and Fire and Clay. Find out more.

About you
First and foremost, you are an entrepreneur and proven leader in a complex, multisite organisation. You have a strong knowledge of Op shops, retail, and social enterprises and understand the impact commercial business areas have in supporting Uniting to be financially sustainable.
You will also bring with you:
- Tertiary qualifications in related field
- Demonstrated success in people leadership and development
- Demonstrated success in retail and business
- Strong quality and compliance experience
