St John Ambulance (Vic) has been saving lives and delivering care and compassion throughout Victoria for 140 years. Our volunteers and staff are the lifeblood of everything we do. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager – Customer and Event Support Services to lead two small teams within Volunteer and Event Health Services (VEHS).
The Opportunity
The Senior Manager – Customer and Event Support Services will lead coach and mentor both the Customer Experience Team and the Event Support Services Team. The Customer Service Team is responsible for maintaining, developing and growing the external VEHS portfolio, growing revenue and profitability. The Event Support Services Team ensure the delivery of first aid services at public and private events throughout Victoria. You will build relationships with internal and external stakeholders ensuring events are quoted, resourced and reported on efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, mentor and support both the Customer and Event Support Teams
- Collaborate with senior volunteers and managers to support the VEHS Event Calendar, delivering First Aid Services and Medical Assistance Services at all events
- Collaborate with event organisers to provide successful first aid services including performance reviews
- Manage the VEHS calendar of client events and monitor expressions of interest, identifying potential opportunities and resourcing requirements
- Create and roll out efficient administration processes to ensure client satisfaction
- Report sales and project event requirements
Your experience
- You will have a background in the events, customer service or service industry or similar
- Experience leading and coaching small teams
- Degree qualification in business, marketing, management or significant experience in a similar role; preferably in a not-for-profit environment/for purpose organisation
- Experience managing budgets, and providing financial and logistical reporting would be highly regarded
- Pre-existing relationships with clients and potential clients within the event industry would be highly regarded
