Job Profile Summary:
- We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to be responsible for the Tax and Accounting UKs’ content and product messaging strategy.
- You will be responsible for the planning, producing and analysing the performance of written content across the business.
- The ideal candidate will collaborate across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and go to market product messaging framework to meet the department and business objectives.

Job Description:
You will be required to;
- Develop a content strategy that supports developing and growing thought leadership, driving awareness and traffic and nurturing sales leads to support in closing deals.
- Develop and maintain comms calendars and content project plans; provide regular updates to stakeholders, and determine metrics for ensuring effectiveness of marketing content
- Ownership of the content communications which includes interesting, well-researched, content to drive traffic, engage and convert target customers, and improve shared content across social media channels; content to include white papers, website copy, eBooks, videos, and other content as required.
- Work with the Comms department on research to drive thought leadership that delivers white papers, webinars, awareness, and build a reputation of Wolters Kluwer UK Tax and Accounting as a thought leader and information resource for UK Accountants.
- Manage the social accounts and contribute to social media postings and management of social media accounts and content calendar, to grow followers and engagement, particularly among influencers, being the owner of the online relationship with influencers.
- Update web content, working with digital marketing, product marketing, and creative.
- Work with product marketing and sales, develop content strategies and materials to support the sales and product launch cycle
- Keep up with current industry trends and topics to ensure relevant communications
- Collaborate with product marketing to develop industry and product-based messaging
- Copy, edit and review content for messaging, style guidelines, brand consistency, and voice; provide education and guidance to ensure high quality writing for all TAA UK content, being a support to colleagues within the Marketing department.
- Coordinate with copy writers, partners, thought leaders, and other third parties to produce high quality joint content programs
- Build and track benchmarks for measuring success and ROI
- Review and Implement processes, suggesting any new tools for effective creation and measurement of content.
- Optimise delivery strategy for each piece, by implementing best practices, and repeatedly test content formats and channels with various target audience segments
- Ensure that all communications adhere to brand and communications standards and are written in a consistent brand tone of voice.
- Working with digital marketing, develop and execute campaigns to drive engagement with content
Key Requirements:
- Degree required, preferably in English or Marketing
- 3+ years’ experience in Marketing, Communications or a Content-focused role
- Excellent written skills for online and print
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Proficient with the Microsoft office suite.
- Experience and keen user of social media, especially LinkedIn
- An interest in the Software Technology market.
- Experience with SEO, Google Analytics and other marketing tools.
Key Competencies:
- Marketing savvy, the ideal candidate will have a SaaS experience or experience in Software marketing. They will be passionate about identifying and then prioritising strategic marketing communications opportunities and drive that overall strategy.
- Interest in Product Marketing, you will be interested in product marketing and developing got to market messaging to support the launch of an exciting product roadmap. You will be focussed on positioning Wolters Kluwer as an innovator and industry leader
- Work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Be data driven in order to drive metrics around comms activities to improve ROI.
- Be flexible and self-motivated with experience of working independently from a hybrid-based environment
- Show an attention to detail
- Ability to be creative and good at idea generation
