What You Will Be Doing
The Infant, Child and Family Team is a community based multidisciplinary team that provides assertive, flexible assessment and treatment options for young people aged 0-11 years experiencing significant mental health difficulties and conditions, along with their families and carers. Young people accessing the IYAT have a range of mental health difficulties and diagnosis, often with co-occurring substance use and complex social issues.
Senior Clinicians within the ICAY team will support the Team Coordinator and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide clinical leadership and supervision to the team and the service more broadly. This is a new and exciting opportunity for mental health clinicians with experience in child and adolescent, youth and / or community mental health to actively participate in the establishment and expansion of the Infant, Child and Youth Service, while developing clinical leadership skills in a supportive environment.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Are you a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist with AHPRA registration or Social Worker with AASW registration?
- Experience in working in youth mental health &/or in a community mental health setting (CAMHS or Adult Services)
