About the Role:
We are recruiting passionate, driven Senior Mental Health Clinicians to join our client’s multi-disciplinary team in Whittlesea and Latrobe.
This is a full-time, maximum term position for two years where you will play an integral part in providing integrated treatment and care for individuals facing co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.

Key Duties:
- Engage guests and develop trusting and professional relationships.
- Provide comprehensive assessment and collaborative treatment plans for guests with co-occurring and complex mental health and AOD presentations.
- Use trauma-informed, strengths-based, and recovery-focused approaches to deliver clinical interventions.
- Provide regular secondary consultation to the team on guest care, treatment planning, and clinical interventions.
- Engage and maintain stakeholder relationships with specialist AOD services, supporting referrals and assisting guests to achieve treatment goals.
- Participate in research and evaluation projects related to AOD integration.
- Promote a culture of Collaborative Relational Practice (CRP) and ensure person-centred approaches in all interventions.
- Participate in the regular collection of service data for continuous improvement and service evaluation.
Skills & Experience:
- Formal tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, or Occupational Therapy.
- Accredited registration with a professional governing body (e.g., AHPRA, APS, AASW).
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the MH/AOD sector.
- Valid Working with Children Check, Police Check, and Australian Driver License.
- Proven clinical experience in applying evidence-based psychological therapies and interventions.
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and foster team commitment and cooperation.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of local services relevant to mental health and AOD.
- Understanding of Occupational Health, Safety, and Welfare Act and practices.
- Experience working across Commonwealth and State-funded mental health/AOD programs.
