WCS delivers a range of services across the ACT that support children, families, young people, and seniors including disability, housing, and mental health services.
We have recently launched our new allied health services and are seeking a passionate Senior Occupational Therapist to contribute to evidence-based assessment, intervention and supports for a range of clients including NDIS participants. You will assist the Executive Manager in the development, growth, and leadership of the Occupational Therapy service and work with the Senior Speech Pathologist to further develop the WCS Allied Health service which has commenced with children ages 2 to 12 years including the provision of professional learning in education settings.

- Permanent full-time position.
- Salary of WCS 9 $120,724.10 – $125,461.88 p.a. plus 11% superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience.
- 12 weeks paid parental leave.

- Paid shutdown leave on standard working days between Christmas and New Year.

Experience & Qualifications
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
- A commitment to evidence-based, person-centred practice and minimum five years of relevant clinical experience.
- A commitment to the inclusion, participation, and rights of people with a disability and/or developmental delay.
- The ability to work positively and collaboratively within inter-professional teams as well as a demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated experience delivering training and supervision or an interest in developing your leadership skills.
- A commitment to professional learning, reflective practice, and an interest in being innovative with service delivery.
- Must have a current Drivers Licence, access to a private motor vehicle and willingness to travel to deliver services when required.
- Relevant supervision experience is desirable.
- Paediatric experience highly desirable.
