Team Summary – Data Governance

The explosion of data in the digital era makes data governance critical. It encompasses the need to secure data, maximise its value, and navigate the evolving legal landscape. Clients, governments, and businesses all have a stake in this important endeavour.

As a trusted ally, we navigate the complexities of data governance, ensuring clients stay compliant and proactive in managing their data effectively.

What you’ll do:

Data Governance forms one of Access Partnership’s Innovation & Delivery practices, which are our expert advisors, and delivery engine, on a range of subject areas. They speak at conferences, produce research papers and reports, further our knowledge, and contribute to bids and proposals while delivering project work through Client Project Teams.

This is an exciting role for a candidate that has expertise on policy and regulatory issues relating to Data Governance focused on EU, and its related institutions. You will influence the organisation, clients, partners and peers in your area of specialism, creating and supporting collaborative ways of working.

What you’ll need:

  • Demonstrable experience providing advisory services to EU institutions. engaging on topics related to data governance, digital or technology policy and/or space policy
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Politics, International Relations or similar
  • Experience leading people in a direct or project management capacity
  • To be comfortable extracting and utilising data to inform positions and influence stakeholders
  • Advanced project management, organisation, and time-management skills both individually and for a team
  • Experience influencing, managing and negotiating with senior-level stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English

We work in a flexible hybrid model, typically aligning each employee to one of our global offices, with each person spending 2 days per week in the office, and 3 days remote.
